The Oak At Kingshill is a freehold family run pub/restaurant in the heart of Cam & Dursley that take pride in providing outstanding home cooked, fresh food for all to enjoy.
The O.A.K has been many different things over the last 10 years and was formally known as both Ranchers Steakhouse and The Kingshill but we hope with lots of love, care and attention the new fresh approach to the Kingshill will be a statement place for all to enjoy for many years to come and we welcome any feedback given.

Introducing The Landlord & Landlady....
Jonathan & Becky are a young husband and wife team who run & own the Oak at Kingshill, Jonathan is an award wining chef with an extensive background in different specialty food & has worked in some highly accredited places through his career.
Jonathan has been in the hospitality industry since the age of 15, he has worked in multiple places in Gloucestershire including being Sous Chef then Head Chef at The Old Passage Inn, Arlingham back between 2014 & 2018 then moved onto The Royal Oak, Leighterton from August 2018 until November 2019.
Now moving onto this venture we feel that Jon’s extensive experience and knowledge can build the food reputation of the Oak at Kingshill for many years to come.
As many will know we also have our son Wesley who joined the team back in April 2022 who you will likely see around from time to time.
Becky & of course pub dogs Floyd & Blossom are an integral part of the team too. Becky's background is a very different story, she is a qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP/Theatre Practitioner) of which she now does full time alongside helping run the OAK but throughout her working life has worked in numerous hospitality settings including working alongside Jonathan in the kitchen.
Floyd & Blossom are Jon & Becky’s lovely Cocker Spaniels, Floyd is a rescue dog and aged around 8 years old & Blossom is 2 & half years old. Many of you will have seen them both from time to time making the most of all the attention they gets in the evenings.

Function Room or Pub Hire
We now have a freshly renovated function room which will comfortably fit up to 50 people but more possible due to our newly installed sliding doors which means the function room can be integrated with the rest of the pub or separate whichever is preferred. This room will have access to music playing facilities and also a microphone & projector for use if needed.
